Appointments System

Owing to the current Covid-19 situation, routine face-to-face appointments are only available with doctors, subject to triage, and with the nursing team. Depending on the reason for your call, our Patient Services Team will direct you to the most appropriate service.  If you need to speak with doctor arrangements will be made for one to call you back as soon as clinically approrpiate.

You can also use eConsult to contact the practice.  Please see the eConsult information immediately below.

eConsult is available for on-line consultations during the following times :

Monday - Friday 06:30 a.m. to 18:30 p.m.

( Excluding Public Holidays ) 


Self help, signposting to local services and longterm condition reviews are available 24/7

Cancel an Appointment

It is important that you inform the practice if you are unable to attend your appointment, this will allow that appointment to be offered to another patient. If you fail to notify the Practice that you are unable to attend, you will be sent a letter informing you that you have defaulted from your appointment. Persistent defaulters maybe removed from the list.


Text Reminder Service

We have a texting service which allows you to receive confirmation and reminders about your appointments.

To have this service you will need to register by completing a consent form.

Please remember to update your contact details with us when you change address, telephone numbers and email address.

Late For Your Appointment

Please attend your appointment on time, if you are late by 10mins or more, then you may not be seen. If you are not seen you will need to rearrange  you appointment. 


If you require an interpreter to attend with you when you see your Doctor please notify the practice and this will be arranged for you.

Home Visits

When requesting a home visit, please note that the doctor may telephone you rather than visit, if this medically appropriate. Ultimately, it is the doctor's right to decide whether or not a visit is apporpriate for a particular set of circumstances.


We will always respect your privacy, dignity and your religious and cultural beliefs particularly when intimate examinations are advisable - these will only be carried out with your express agreement and you will be offered a chaperone to attend the examination if you so wish.

You may also request a chaperone when making the appointment or on arrival at the Practice or at any time during the consultation.


Disabled Facilities

Disabled patient facilities are available at this practice, including toilet, car park space and a ramp.
